Trackseller was designed for artists to sell their music.

An artist needs to register and becomes a registered person.

Then the registered person adds his artist properties and becomes a registered artist.

For trackseller, a label also is a registered person but in this case the registered person adds a label sign to it.

So now we have registered persons that can be artists or labels.

An artist can now add a.) a label that he or she is signed to or b) a label can add artists.

Let's look at case b.) for a label to sign multiple artists to trackseller.

The label is a registered person that may add artists.

Every entity has it's own scheme how the money paid by customers come to that entity.

As an artist it is easy : 88.5% go to the artist and 11.5% go to trackseller. There are no additional setup fees or monthly costs.

So now as a label you do not want that every sale a signed artist makes directly goes to the artist, you als want your share.

That is where the label contract comes into play.

The label contract holds the following rules:

1. The artist recievs x% of a sale or x-8% when the artist is member in any collcting society.

2. the label recieves y% for each sale

3. trackseller recieves it's provision z% (for example 11.5%)

What is the special benefit for a label to sell music digitally via trackseller ?

Usually when you run a webshop programmed for you, you will have to calculate each sale for each artist at the end of the month.

Then you will have to calculate the artists percentage and you will have to pay out the money to the artists.

With trackseller every artist has it's own account that he manages himself. The label only adds the songs and albums to trackseller

the money is managed entirely by trackseller. Every sale is directly split into each account and goes straight to the artists and label.

What do you have to do now as a label ?

Register for a new account

start your online shop when you are logged in

make yourself a "registered label"

fill out the label contract

send the label contract via mail to trackseller

you will be notified that your label settings are set up

add artists , songs and albums to your label page
