Keep it simple :

All transactions are charged 11.5 % provision for trackseller.Except the free MP3 uploader account where the provision for trackseller is 40%

There are some contracts for labels etc. with other conditions than that, please mail to office[at]trackseller.com.

There exists a FREE! product for self-administration that has no monthly fee, no registration fee, free registration of a limitless number of songs and files, no setup costs.

Trackseller also offers upload accounts with storeage in different sizes to match your needs.

Webspace:

With the FREE! self-administered account you may use every Webspace you find in the free world.

You must hand over your FTP-Password to trackseller in order to create files that you sell.

Or you use an uploading product available, where handling is inlcuded in your account and you do not need any website administration skills

Webspace is available at trackseller's at different rates for diferent sizes and periods. Please see the products section

If you compress a 1 h CD iso image of a cd with for example winrar you get a file that is about 400 MB in size, so 1.2 GB is enough space for about 3 CDs.

Check out any other webshop, you may then come back to trackseller.

Transactions:

The transaction fees for paying songs for download are set by PayPal and calculated like this : fees = 3.9% of the price + 0,35 €

In every transaction from the customer the fees are automatically added, so when you sell a song for 0.99 €, you will also recieve 0.88 € because the customer paid about 1.40 for it as the fees are added and 11.5% provision for trackseller is removed. All currencies are Euro and only Euro.

When you claim your money, no extra fees are reduced from your income. Trackseller will pay the money transfer fees when aplicable..

Money is sent to you automatically every six months when your account balance is more than 100 €, otherwise six months later and so on.

The transaction fees will go down, when the trxlr selling volume increases, so it can only be better.

Paypal allows easy money transfer between Trackseller and you so you need a PayPal account to get your money. There is no bank account transfer from trackseller. But you can also send money to your bank account with PayPal.

Collecting society:

Some musicians are member in a collecting society (austro mechana, GEMA etc.) that collects machanical rights for any copy of a piece of music - that includes copies made via electronic data transfer.

The problem is : you can not step off that contract for "some" pieces of music (the pieces that you want to sell via trackseller for example).

Trackseller must pay the fees for your mechanical rights in ALL cases.

As trackseller is a company in austria we have to give these fees to "austro mechana"

the fees are : 8% of the song price but at least 8 cent (Euro).

This makes sure that the artist is given at least eight percent of the price in case of an online sale, so this is a very honest functionality of the collecting society.

This contract is worldwide and your local collecting society refunds these 8% to you.

Trackseller makes automatic booking for you of these 8% but you yourself must check that the collecting society of your country will give the money back to you.

You will be sent a list with the fees that you paid with your one year overwiew. You can then check, if your local collecting society pays back the money to you.

venues & labels:

Trackseller is very good for selling recordings of live events for venues. If you want to sell these recordings, please contact office[at]trackseller.com for a special contract.

Trackseller is very handy for labels because artists manage their own account and have their own money transferred by trackseller automatically. No additional administrative work for labels
